SKF Coupling Systems is part of SKF Sweden AB and our factory is located in Hofors. We are world leaders in the field of 'rigid shaft couplings'.

Our main customer segments are power generation industry, steam and gas turbines, and shipbuilding industry.

About the position

With us, you will work with the assembly, testing, and service of hydraulic couplings, bolts, and bolt tensioners – both as standalone units and as parts of larger systems where electricity and mechanics interact. You will also get to work with custom builds and tailored solutions, making each day both varied and developing. Other product lines in our portfolio are also included in the work area, giving you a broad and exciting technical everyday life.

We will internally train you in all aspects, so the position is perfect for you who are technically inclined, meticulous, and solution-oriented, and who want to grow into a specialist role.

About you

In addition, we are looking for someone who:

• Has a technical interest and has 2-4 years of experience in the industry, perhaps as a mechanic, hydraulic technician, or assembler of some kind.
• Is quality-conscious, meticulous, self-driven, and enjoys technical challenges
• Has good knowledge of reading technical drawings and measurement techniques
• Can work under time pressure and has a strong desire to develop
• Is proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Cranes and forklift licenses are an advantage

The position is permanent with a six-month probationary period.
