Working as a summer intern at Billerud gives you great opportunities to gain valuable experience. At Billerud, we offer you the chance to work in an innovative and exciting environment while contributing to a sustainable tomorrow together with others.

We offer summer jobs from May to August and can adjust start and end dates according to studies and similar commitments. Please indicate in your application when you are available and wish to work. You will work daytime, Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Description

Your tasks will involve keeping our factory premises clean to prevent fires and damages. The goal is to create a good working environment for both you as a summer intern and the others working in the premises.

Depending on which group you work in, your tasks may vary, but some examples of tasks include:

  • Cleaning by flushing pulp and chemicals
  • Shoveling chips and shavings
  • Vacuuming fire lanes
  • Picking up scrap and plastic

You will collaborate with our process operators who may delegate other production-related tasks to you as needed, which you will carry out together.

Qualifications

  • Completed or ongoing high school education with passing grades
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Must be at least 18 years old

It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you:

  • Have studied/are studying Industrial Technology in high school
  • Have previously interned at Billerud with good results

Personal Qualities

The position is largely based on teamwork, which means you should be easy to collaborate with and respectful and open to dialogue. As a person, you should be practical, responsible, and flexible, with a clear focus on safety. We value engagement and a willingness to learn new things.
