The Swedish Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Unit (FMTIS) is now looking for a Department Head for the Implementation Department in Falun.
About the position
This is a position for you who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where you can switch between long-term strategic planning and focusing on and making decisions on operational issues. In this role, you will be part of an exciting journey as the Swedish Armed Forces grow.
The Implementation Department (GA) Falun belongs to the Implementation Unit Mitt (GE Mitt) and is part of the unit of the Swedish Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Unit (FMTIS). GA Falun consists of about 6 employees and a Section Manager. The department works with telecommunications and the Armed Forces' IT systems. There is a strong sense of community and team spirit in the department where work is carried out towards common goals. Main responsibilities
As Department Head for a GA, you are responsible for the entire operation and lead the department's staff. The Department Head reports to the Unit Manager and is the immediate supervisor of the Section Manager. Responsibilities include:
- Personnel responsibility, which means being a support in everyday life for all staff. Drive and support rehabilitation. Conduct employee conversations, establish development and training plans for staff.
- Recruitment of new staff
- Ensure that the department adheres to the financial budget, etc.
- Set goals for the operation and steer the department towards these.
- Work with follow-up and quality assurance
- Conduct operations within production, projects, and exercise activities
- Participate in the unit's management group
- Collaborate with customers and external actors
- Together with safety representatives and the section manager, you will systematically drive workplace safety work, operational safety work, and security work for the entire department.
REQUIREMENTS
- Documented experience in a previous role with personnel responsibility
- Documented experience in workplace safety work, risk assessment, and rehabilitation
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Driving license B (manual)
