The Culture and Leisure Administration manages and oversees the municipality's cultural and leisure facilities such as libraries, youth centers, cultural schools, theaters, swimming facilities, and sports facilities. We also provide services and grants to associations within the municipality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance and various upkeep of the municipality's sports facilities, including football fields, sports halls, gymnasiums, hiking trails, and outdoor environments, as well as customer service towards the associations and others renting the facilities. The work also includes repair and maintenance of equipment and machines. The position includes extra responsibility for Hallandsleden and being the unit's equality representative. The position is divided 50% on sports halls and trails and 50% on football fields and sports facilities.

Working hours are scheduled during weekdays from Monday to Friday, as well as evenings and weekends according to a schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant education and experience for the position, as well as an interest in working with sports facilities, environments, and association services. You are used to taking responsibility and working both independently and in a team. Your background is as a technician or another background in sports and service that is deemed equivalent by the Culture and Leisure Administration. Previous experience in the profession and in associations is an advantage. Since the work is physically demanding, great emphasis is placed on physical ability. The work also requires a high sense of service and the ability to meet people. You should also have good computer and IT skills as you will be using several administrative systems related to your tasks.

Good machinery experience and documented technical knowledge are advantageous. In the recruitment process, we will place great emphasis on personal qualities beyond the qualifications stated.

You should be or have been professionally active in facility management and in the development and maintenance of hiking trails.

A B driver's license is a requirement.
