At Department 26B, we have 12 care places for stroke and neurology. As a nursing assistant, you will work with standard nursing assistant tasks in a team with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. We work in several teams with a focus on either stroke or neurology. The rehabilitative, person-centered approach permeates the entire department.

We are now looking for nursing assistants/care assistants for temporary positions, full-time, at Department 26B in Sundsvall during the summer of 2026. Start date is 2026-05-18 or by agreement.

As a nursing assistant/care assistant in Department 26B, you will work with qualified care for patients who have suffered a stroke or other neurological diseases. The work is performed in teams where nursing staff and rehabilitative staff work together for the hospitalized patient.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained nursing assistant
• If you are studying to become a doctor or nurse, you are also welcome to apply provided you have completed term 4. For nursing students from Umeå University, completing term 3 is sufficient for this summer position.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage for the position if you

• Have experience working in a hospital
