Are you ready to shape the future of healthcare for children and youth in Norrbotten?
At En väg in and the child and youth health services, you have the chance to make a real difference where it is truly needed. Together, we create a safe and healthy future for the next generation.
We are looking for
We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training in psychiatry or step 1 training. You have experience working with the Cosmic journal system and have a very good command of English in speech. It is also an advantage if you can speak Finnish, Meänkieli, Sámi, or other languages. You have previously worked with children, youth, and their families, preferably within psychiatry, primary care, or municipal services, and you are comfortable meeting people at different stages of life. Experience in conducting assessments and triaging, both during physical visits and via phone or digital channels, is considered particularly valuable for the position.
The position requires a B driver's license.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. We are looking for a person who is stable and secure in their professional role, with a good ability to collaborate and contribute to positive and effective teamwork. You work with quality awareness and always strive to deliver a professional response and good results. Additionally, you are structured and have an easy time organizing your work even in periods of high tempo.
What you will work with
Your tasks will mainly consist of receiving and assessing incoming phone calls regarding children and youth with mild, moderate, or severe mental health issues. The work includes providing advice and support, assessing care needs, triaging to the appropriate level of care, and determining the urgency of the case.
You will have conversations with parents, youth, and partners such as schools, student health services, social services, and health centers.
During triaging, we sometimes use a standardized and structured interview with the help of a digital tool. The result of the interview, together with a functional assessment and your overall clinical judgment, forms the basis for deciding which level of care should be offered – first line or BUP.
You will be part of a professional and competent team with similar tasks. The team works closely together and supports each other in assessments and in more complex cases.
The tasks may also include, based on the needs of the organization and by agreement, to hold digital parent support groups together with a psychologist from the child and youth health services.
The workplace is primarily located in Luleå/Boden. In the long term, there is the possibility of some remote work.
What we offer you
- Continuous development in work methods, routines, and competencies
- Group supervision both method/case supervision and team/process supervision with experienced supervisors
- Development and career opportunities where you can help shape the future of health and care
- Health-promoting workplaces with access to wellness activities and wellness benefits
