We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse who has a genuine interest in developing and learning new things. In the emergency department, we face new and varied challenges daily, which requires both commitment and flexibility. It is an advantage if you have experience working with acutely ill patients, for example from emergency departments, wards, or health centers, but it is not a requirement.

We place great importance on personal qualities. To thrive in this role, you are flexible and easily adapt to changing circumstances. You have good collaboration skills and see the value in working together with others. Additionally, you have a strong desire to develop and contribute to the improvement of the organization.

What you will work with

As a nurse in the emergency department, you will be gradually introduced to the various functions within the organization. Through this, you will have the opportunity to broaden your skills and experience a great variety in your work. You will meet patients with everything from mild ailments to acute conditions – from newborns to elderly individuals. The work is done in teams with experienced and engaged colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge and experience. In the emergency department, we value ideas for improvement and actively work on development – both for the benefit of the patient and for the quality of the organization. We are proud of our workplace and strive for a positive and respectful approach, both towards patients and among colleagues.

- We offer you, who have further education and experience from other operations, the opportunity to maintain your skills through annually recurring placements within that operational area
- Structured onboarding for at least four weeks, depending on previous experience. During the onboarding, we follow up on how it goes and if there is a need for additional introduction time

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement. Working hours are scheduled for day/evening and night. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
