Landskrona Omsorg AB is a municipal company that offers care and nursing homes, health and medical care, home care, as well as support and services for people with disabilities. The company will operate all municipal care services in Landskrona starting in 2025 and is owned by the city of Landskrona.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Landskrona Omsorg is now seeking care assistants for our home care services to provide care and support to residents of Landskrona. Here you will have a unique opportunity to work in a meaningful environment, taking on an important role where you contribute every day to improving the quality of life for our residents.

In the role of care assistant, you will find solutions that have a direct impact on our clients. You enjoy working independently, having varied tasks, and taking your own initiative. In your daily routine, you will cycle or drive, meet many different clients with varying needs, and work closely with your colleagues and other licensed staff.

What does the role involve?

As a care assistant with us, you will:

• Perform health and medical work in close collaboration with nurses and other care staff.
• Offer personal care and support to our clients based on their needs and wishes.
• Deliver high-quality service to create a safe and dignified everyday life for those you assist.
• Follow our clients' daily lives and note their well-being and changes in health.
• Personal development.

The tasks can range from assisting with personal care and hygiene to light household chores, going for walks, accompanying clients to activities, or playing games together. Additionally, it includes performing health and medical interventions such as medication delegation.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying:

• Are at least 18 years old.
• Have a care and nursing education with certification.
• Enjoy working with people.
• Can work independently.
• Have experience in care work.
• Are flexible and attentive.
• Can handle modern technology.
• Speak and write good Swedish.
• Have cycling experience.
