Do you want to join us in creating the best sports halls in the Nordics? The city's sports halls are used by sports clubs, schools, and the general public.

We often host various events. In the role of sports hall custodian, you will have close contact with schools and clubs that are active in the facility. You will therefore meet people from different backgrounds daily, and many of the visitors are children and young people.

We are now looking for a sports hall custodian for the Inner City Sports Halls, based in Eriksdalshallen, which is one of our larger sports facilities with multiple events each year. We staff the facility from Monday to Sunday from 06:00 to 24:00. You will also work at other facilities within the unit.

Your role

Working in a sports facility means always delivering high service to everyone using the sports facility. Together with the workgroup, you ensure that the sports facility meets given requirements and maintains high quality. This means that you will spend a large part of your working day on cleaning and maintenance of operational areas such as sports halls, changing rooms, shower rooms, toilets, and ancillary areas. You will perform minor maintenance work, handle fault reports, conduct systematic fire safety rounds with evacuation drills, and simply ensure that the facility is safe, intact, clean, and secure for all our visitors. The work is independent, and you will plan it largely yourself on a daily basis.

Your skills and experience

Are you our next star? You work well with others, are accommodating, and have a service-oriented attitude. You easily adapt to changing circumstances, work in a structured way, and can make correct assessments and priorities on a daily basis. You are meticulous and never compromise on quality.

We are looking for you who have:

• Basic computer skills
• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

It is meritorious to have:

• Work experience as a cleaner, custodian, or property caretaker
• We would like you to be, or have been, active in a sports club
• Previous experience from a service profession with a lot of customer contact
