Your Workplace

Holmen's nurseries produce approximately 45 million forest plants annually, of which the nursery in Friggesund produces 13 million spruce and pine plants for the company's own forest, our wood suppliers, and external customers. Holmen Skog is committed to further developing our plant cultivation, especially in collaboration with researchers.

Your Future Challenge

As a nursery worker, you will be an important part of the chain in our production from seed to plant. We are a wonderful team that collaborates with different backgrounds and experiences to develop our operations and optimize growth in the forest.

Your tasks will include working in our three production lines, performing repairs and maintenance on production equipment and buildings, as well as landscape maintenance. Since we apply job rotation, it may also involve performing plant supplementation, weeding, etc.

If you have a desire to learn new things, there are good opportunities to develop in your role and learn new tasks.

Shift work may be applied as needed (no night shifts).

We place great importance on your personal qualities - you are a quick learner, responsible, and goal-oriented with a large dose of positive energy. You see each work moment as a learning opportunity and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues. You have a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written, at least equivalent to SFI level C.

If you have an education in forestry or industry, or have experience working in industry, it is highly meritorious. Also, having a forklift and wheel loader license is an advantage. However, we place the greatest emphasis on you and your personality - if you have a desire to learn and enjoy collaborating with others, we believe you will thrive in your new job with us.

A driving license B is required.
