Riding School Manager / Operations Manager

As a Riding School Manager, you have the overall and strategic responsibility for the riding school's and association's operations. The role is a clear management position with full operational, personnel, and financial responsibility. You lead, develop, and drive the business forward in close collaboration with the board.

You are responsible for both the daily operations and the long-term development of the riding school and association. This means you work strategically with goals, growth, quality, and finances to ensure a sustainable and growing operation.

We are looking for someone who is a confident leader and driving force with a strong desire to develop the business and increase the number of riders. You have a clear focus on quality in education, horse welfare, and safety, and want to position the riding school and association as a modern and attractive player.

The position can be combined with other roles at Söderhamnsortens Ryttarförening (riding instructor or stable groom).

Responsibilities:

• Overall operational responsibility for the riding school
• Strategic development and long-term planning
• Financial, budget, and economic responsibility
• Personnel responsibility and management
• Develop the business for increased growth and more riders
• Ensure quality, horse welfare, work environment, and safe horse handling
• Represent the business externally and work with collaborations and local anchoring
• Lead the work in close cooperation with the board

Qualifications:

• Education through the Swedish Equestrian Federation (at least SRL I or equivalent)
• Documented leadership experience, preferably in a managerial role
• Experience in business development and financial responsibility
• Good communication skills and ability to engage staff and members
• Experience in riding school operations and high-level horse handling
• Strategic, structured, and results-oriented
