We are looking for a dedicated and responsible stable and horse caretaker who wants to be an important part of our organization.

You are passionate about horses and want to work in a safe and professional environment where horse welfare and safety are always the focus.

The position can be combined with other roles at Söderhamnsortens Ryttarförening (riding instructor, stable manager/operations manager)

Your main responsibilities:

• Daily stable and horse care
• Feeding, bringing in and out
• Cleaning and stable routines
• Safe horse handling
• Monitoring the health and well-being of the horses
• Maintenance of equipment and stable environment

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with horses and in stables
• Has good knowledge of horse welfare and safe horse handling
• Is meticulous, responsible, and self-driven
• Enjoys physical work and varied tasks
• Is a team player with a positive attitude
