The Medicine Department 13/23 belongs to the southern primary care area. In our ward, we currently have 18 beds and care for individuals with hematological diseases, nephrology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, rheumatology, as well as patients with general medical diagnoses. Here, patients are treated with chemotherapy and antibody treatments, PD, antibiotics, blood products, and a range of other medications and nursing interventions. Many of our patients require close monitoring, and therefore, great emphasis is placed on the staff's attention to changes. Much focus is also placed on nutrition and mobilization as it is an important part of both infection care and cancer treatments. We have both planned admissions but also receive emergency patients around the clock, both from home and via the emergency department.

We have a multiprofessional teamwork around our patients and we continuously work on improvements, internal training, and patient safety.

We are now looking for a nursing assistant for the medicine department in Sundsvall over the summer of 2026! The position is a full-time temporary position with a start date by agreement until 2026-08-31.

• Wound dressing
• Assisting in examinations

This position involves rotation work where you will work days, evenings, and weekends. Occasional nights may occur.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a valid nursing assistant education
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have further education in emergency care
• Have experience working in a hospital
