Close leadership, change, sustainable workplace

As a unit manager, you are the manager closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving the daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the state value base permeates your work. Through your leadership, you convey clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take their responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as result and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit. You also represent the Swedish Social Insurance Agency in external collaborations.

Your unit consists of about 20 employees working with activity compensation and is located in Borlänge or Västerås. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take their responsibility and meet changing needs. You create understanding of context, direction, and the goals the department has set and develop the plans your operations need. As a unit manager, you support the area manager and are part of the area's management group where you contribute with your expertise and engagement. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

A position, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Possibility for remote work exists if the job allows.
