Are you at the beginning of your career in water and wastewater (VA or VVS)? Perhaps you are interested in a new challenge after a few years in another industry? If so, the role of Operations Technician VA at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport might be for you!

What does the role entail?

As an Operations Technician VA, you will belong to our VA unit, whose main work consists of the operation, maintenance, and development of the airport's drinking and wastewater facilities, stormwater facilities, and fuel pipeline systems. The airport also has its own treatment plant for process wastewater from airport operations.

Your tasks will include supervision, maintenance, and development of facilities and systems to ensure that they maintain agreed operational reliability and functionality. You will also perform water sampling, inspections, and planned and emergency maintenance on the airport's facilities.

Once you are comfortable in your role, you will have on-call duty during certain periods, which may involve emergency responses and inconvenient working hours, such as nights. The on-call duty lasts for 7 days, around the clock. On-call shifts occur approximately every 6 weeks. During on-call duty, you will work daytime as usual.

Who are you? We see that you have:

• High school education in technology, or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Driver's license (B)

• Computer skills

• Good physical condition as the job involves heavy lifting

As a person, you are practical and can plan your work based on given conditions, you adapt easily to changes, and enjoy solving problems together with colleagues and other stakeholders at the airport. Your workgroup collaborates closely, so you need to enjoy working in a team and also appreciate having a broad network of contacts.
