Small hearts need great care! We are a small hospital in the big world, and it is precisely in the small that our greatness lies. Here, all the expertise a sick child may need is available, along with good collaboration, respect, and care. We take care of the children and their families, and we take care of each other – because we know we do a much better job together!

Our Operations

At ward 95B, the section for pediatric surgery, we conduct activities in surgery, urology, orthopedics, neurology/neurosurgery, and hand surgery. This includes both planned care and emergency admissions around the clock for all specialties. We also run a joint daycare service and several specialist clinics in the area. The children who come to us range from newborns to 18 years old. We receive patients from the entire Mälardalen and Norrland regions.

It is important for us that both children and parents feel safe and well-prepared. All of us who work together in the multidisciplinary team at the children's hospital play an important role in this. All our work, from preparatory information about the upcoming procedure to post-operative care on the ward, is done with great respect for the child. We place a strong focus on the child's perspective and work in teams together with the child and family. There are many laughs in a day spent with children and families.

Your Mission

We are looking for nursing assistants interested in working with children in the fields of pediatric surgery and pediatric neurology.

You will be welcomed by positive and committed colleagues, many with long experience, mixed with those who have recently begun their development in the profession. We Offer

We offer a permanent position within the section on a full-time basis, with start date according to agreement. The position involves three shifts: day, evening, and night.
