Do you want to support an engaged team at a publishing house during an intensive period? Then this could be the assignment for you!

ABOUT THE POSITION

Our client is an established publishing house where you will work closely with the production manager and assist in both original work and ongoing administration.

The assignment starts in mid-March and initially lasts until mid-July, with the possibility of extension.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Original work in InDesign:

  • Work in existing original files
  • Correct spelling errors and adjust according to editorial feedback
  • Update and modify material

Administration:

  • Perform simpler administrative tasks such as file archiving.
  • Enter purchase orders in business and order systems
  • Provide basic administrative support to the production manager
  • Check physical copies of books to ensure quality and correctness

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Is a student in media/marketing/communication or similar and graduates no earlier than January 2027
  • Has experience with Adobe InDesign (e.g., through studies, internships, or previous work)
  • Has experience or aptitude for administrative office work.
  • Has a good ability to understand and manage digital systems.
  • Has a meticulous and unpretentious attitude.

It is a plus if you have

  • Experience with systems like Mockingbird or Schilling.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • A background in media, communication, or marketing.
