As a team leader for vehicle maintenance, you will work in a positive team alongside our Production Managers and experienced Vehicle Maintenance Workers, reporting directly to the Service Manager. For us, good collaboration is important, which is why it is essential that you contribute to a good working environment. In this organization, we are also responsible for Vehicle Maintenance, Property, and Stop Maintenance.

Eskilstuna has a long tradition of well-functioning and well-planned vehicle maintenance where the demands on employees are high; we have built the organization from the ground up.

Is this you? Our vehicle maintenance operates during the day, evenings, and nights, with staffing every day of the year. As a team leader for vehicle maintenance, you will plan your working hours based on the needs of the operation and ensure that you are present when the operation requires it. The role is practical and means that you work closely with your team, participate in daily tasks, and are unpretentious in taking on both leading and operational tasks.

You are responsible for leading, distributing, and following up on the daily work in the service hall. Your main tasks consist of planning and documenting vehicle service in the form of interior cleaning and exterior washing of our buses. If necessary, you will also perform reconditioning and deep cleaning. In addition, inventory, graffiti removal, and handling of forgotten items are included. You also ensure that fluids, chemicals, and consumables are replenished, and that mops and cloths are clean for the next shift.

An important part of the role is to ensure that all vehicle maintenance is carried out professionally with high quality, as well as maintaining order in the service hall and common areas. Safety checks of all buses are conducted daily, and you play a central role in ensuring that this is done according to routine.

You will be part of an engaged team of experienced vehicle maintenance workers. To succeed in the role, you need to be self-driven, responsible, and loyal, while also being a team player who actively contributes to good collaboration and a positive working environment.

Qualifications

• B & D driving license

• Experience in leadership

• Good computer skills, proficient in MS Office

• Knowledge of environmental and safety issues

• Good physical condition as the work can be demanding

• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious C driving license
