Summer Temporary Positions at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service in Borås

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the cycle of crime. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand centers, and client transport.

The Borås operational area consists of the Borås Remand Center and the Borås Prison. The remand center is part of the police station located in central Borås, and the prison is situated in the Västeråsen district of Borås. Construction of a new remand center near Borås Central Station is underway. We are now looking for summer temporary staff for the operation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of a cleaner involves cleaning the remand center's entrance areas, corridors, administrative offices, activity rooms, staff areas, and other relevant facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are attentive, service-oriented, and perform your tasks in a careful, structured, and systematic manner. Your personal qualities are very important, and we are looking for someone who is flexible, has good teamwork skills, but also the ability to work independently and take initiative. You feel responsible for the premises and working environment and continuously assess the need for various work efforts.

Requirements

• Work experience as a cleaner.
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

Meritorious

• Relevant education in cleaning.
• Complete upper secondary education.
• Experience in cleaning within public administration.
• Experience in healthcare cleaning and/or decontamination work.
