As a nurse at Ebbagården, you will work in a warm environment based on a strong value foundation, characterized by giving the elderly hope and joy of life, dignity, community, wholeness, and service. Ebbagården is Uppsala's most central residence, close to public transport and green areas such as Stadsträdgården and Fyrisån. Ebbagården has 33 apartments spread over three floors with 11 residents on each floor. We actively strive to provide the elderly with a meaningful existence and work based on a well-developed activity concept.

Ebbagården is organizationally part of the Care & Nursing area, which also includes Utsikten – an LSS operation for younger people with dementia. There is also close cooperation with Samariterhemmet's educational unit, which conducts support pedagogue and specialist nursing assistant training.

About the role

As a nurse in our HSL team, you will work with standard nursing tasks based on person-centered care. You will work in a team with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing staff, doctors, and managers. You will be the responsible nurse for a floor and have a leadership role in nursing.

If you join us, you will become part of a wonderful environment with friendly and helpful colleagues with long experience in care and nursing. You will receive an introduction to the operations before you start working independently so that you feel secure.

The position is part-time with a 60% working degree, permanent employment. Working hours are scheduled during the day on weekdays and every third weekend. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. We prefer that you have experience working in elderly care and dementia care. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as good computer skills.

Your personal qualities are important, and you want to be part of a team where good treatment and the well-being of the residents are always in focus. You are confident in yourself and in your professional role, have an easy time collaborating, are structured, and want to contribute to a health-promoting and positive work environment. You should have a genuine interest in working with elderly people, be service-oriented, flexible, and have good cooperation skills.
