Within the Health and Care Administration, we have full-time as the norm. This means that all permanent employees essentially have a full-time position. More information about what this means for this position will be provided during a possible interview. Exceptions to full-time as the norm are personal assistants.

About the Workplace

The home healthcare at Fyrislundsgatan 68 provides municipal care at home for people aged 65 and older. We work person-centered and ensure that each patient receives safe and secure care in their home environment.

The workplace is the base for our nurses and other licensed personnel. Here we plan the day, document, hold meetings, and collaborate with other professionals. The majority of the work takes place in the patients' homes, in close cooperation with home care, case managers, doctors, and rehabilitation staff.

The work is conducted during the day, both on-site and out with patients.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse in home healthcare, you work independently, supported by knowledgeable colleagues and close cross-professional collaboration. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on health and medical care interventions in patients' homes.

You will work with:

  • assessment, planning, implementation, and follow-up of nursing interventions
  • medical interventions such as medication management, injections, infusions, wound dressings, and sample collection
  • monitoring patients' health status and nursing needs
  • coordination and collaboration with doctors, rehabilitation staff, case managers, and home care
  • supervision and delegation to nursing staff
  • documentation according to applicable laws and guidelines
  • participation in quality work and development initiatives

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a licensed nurse according to the National Board of Health and Welfare
  • has basic computer skills and experience with documentation in digital journal systems
  • has knowledge of current health and medical care legislation
  • has a valid B driver's license
  • has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

  • experience in home healthcare, primary care, or elderly care
  • previous work in municipal health and medical care

Personal Qualities

In the role of a nurse in home healthcare, you work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and make decisions even in changing situations. You are flexible and see opportunities when conditions change. With good collaboration skills, you create security in meetings with patients, colleagues, and partners. You also have pedagogical abilities and can adapt your way of guiding and delegating. With a clear holistic view, you make decisions that benefit both the patient and the organization.
