The Surgical Clinic in Sundsvall is a large specialist clinic where nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors work closely together to investigate and perform examinations in both benign and malignant surgery. Our common focus is to create an optimal and cohesive care process for each patient.

Our teams consist of:

• Vascular Surgery
• Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery (ÖGI)
• Colorectal Surgery-Stoma Care
• Breast and Endocrine Surgery
• Endoscopic Operations

We are a stable and well-functioning work group with high cohesion, where collaboration and patient focus are central parts of daily work. With us, you will have a safe workplace with high competence, good camaraderie, and working hours scheduled on weekdays during the day.

We are currently looking for three nurses to join our team! The positions include 2 permanent positions and 1 temporary position until 2027-01-15, with start date according to agreement.

Nurse for the Surgical Clinic, Sundsvall

As a nurse with us, you will have a central and independent role in the patient's outpatient care process. You will work both closely with patients and in a coordinating capacity.

Job responsibilities include, among other things:

• Clinic work in benign and malignant surgery
• Assisting in endoscopies, examinations, and minor procedures
• Wound care clinic
• Phone consultations
• Planning and prioritizing patients
• Support to wards, primary care, and home care in surgical matters

After introduction, you will belong to a specific team where you will gain in-depth competence and special tasks. Examples of nurse-led clinics include:

• Aorta screening
• Obesity clinic
• Endoscopy
• Breast clinic
• Stoma and wound care
• Contact nurse in cancer care

We work person-centered, and our cancer patients are assigned a named contact nurse - an important and meaningful part of the mission.

An individualized introduction plan ensures a safe start with us.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

• Have worked in surgery
• Have experience with the Cosmic journal system
• Have work experience from clinic work in surgery
