We are now looking for a property caretaker for Scandic Växjö for the summer.

What does the role entail?

As a property caretaker with us at Scandic, your primary focus is to keep the hotel in good condition for our guests. Scandic is a tenant and is operationally responsible for both the hotel's property and the building. The work largely takes place in hotel rooms and other guest areas, which means many greetings in the corridor to our guests - it is precisely there and then that we demonstrate the good service we provide.

In your role, you will work with daily operations as well as planned and corrective maintenance of the hotel's premises and installations such as doors, locks, furnishings, and equipment in hotel rooms, gym, kitchen, restaurant, conference, pool, and sauna/relax area.

Furthermore, a significant amount of work with our outdoor environment is also included. Sustainability is an important guiding principle, and you will actively work with this in your daily tasks. You will report to a Property Manager.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with technical education and experience in property management or who is currently training in the field. You have knowledge in one of the areas of electrical, HVAC, or control technology. Additionally, you are computer literate and have good knowledge of Swedish and English.

Information about the position:

The position is a temporary part-time employment according to a schedule. Weekend work may occur.

You will primarily work in our property department during the summer but also assist in our housekeeping department during peak times.

This is a summer position, but some training will occur continuously during the spring.
