Axeltorp Care Home is a full-service residence for people with dementia, located about 20 kilometers south of Kristianstad. Axeltorp has 32 apartments distributed over four departments, all located on the ground floor and have their own patios. All food comes from our own kitchen.

At Axeltorp, you will be part of a team that collectively is responsible for providing individual care and service to our residents.

Your tasks will include assisting/supporting residents with care, activities, training, outdoor stays, and medication management. We will also highlight the abilities that our residents still have to make the day meaningful and engage them in everyday life.

Furthermore, it includes designing implementation plans, documenting, conducting regular evaluations, and contributing to the organization delivering good and high quality. We follow up results in national registers such as BPSD and Senior Alert.

Requirements for the position:

- Care and nursing education according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements to obtain the protected professional title of Nursing Assistant.

- Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (or proof of an ongoing application)

Additionally; As of July 1, 2023, the title of Nursing Assistant became a protected professional title. This means that a certificate will be required to use the title of Nursing Assistant in healthcare. We would prefer that you have work experience in dementia care.

Working hours are scheduled for weekdays, evenings, and weekends on a rolling 6-week schedule, or alternatively night work according to a rolling 6-week schedule.

Permanent employment 75% - 100%

Before permanent employment, we always apply a six-month probationary period.

Start date according to agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and positions may be filled before the advertisement's closing date.
