Do you want to be part of building a new production line in a family-owned company with great ambitions? We are now looking for a Lead Engineer for Kiviks Musteri! In this role, you will have broad technical responsibilities and lead important projects where you will be a central part of the company's development. Does this sound like something for you? Submit your application today – selection is ongoing!
ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are looking for someone who wants to take full responsibility for our client's new production line, a role where you will have the opportunity to be involved from the start and then grow within the company. You will begin your journey as the sole responsible person, initially having a broad and operational role and being involved in all parts, from feasibility study to implementation. This includes everything from planning and budgeting to execution and construction, as well as following up on the technical projects. Eventually, you will have the opportunity to work your way up by building your own team in the future and advancing to project manager where you will lead larger projects.
You will have projects in areas such as production, process development, automation, and facility improvements, focusing on ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Furthermore, it is important not to compromise on quality; you will ensure that projects meet high quality and food safety requirements. You will also conduct risk analyses and be an important cog in the development of the company's investment plan, including priorities.
Examples of tasks:
- Develop technical specifications and requirements for equipment, processes, and automation solutions.
- Ensure that the project complies with relevant regulations regarding food safety, occupational safety, and hygiene.
- Establish and manage project budgets, timelines, and status reports.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
- Initiate and drive improvement projects focusing on efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
- Have a Master's/Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, food technology, automation, industrial economics, or similar.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in technical project management.
- Have experience from the process industry.
- Are fluent in Swedish and English as both languages are used in the work.
It is advantageous if you have:
- A background in food.
- Experience in automation (PLC) or design (CAD).
- Good computer skills and strong knowledge of Excel.
- Documented experience working with standards such as HACCP, FSSC22000.
Furthermore, great importance will be placed on personal suitability, where we are looking for someone with a strong technical interest, who is responsible and structured. You are communicative and have the ability to explain technical aspects in an easily understandable way. We also see that you are creative in your thinking and have a clear solution-oriented approach. You will act as a link between technology, production, IT, quality, purchasing, and external suppliers.
ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:
This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will be employed by us at Friday, but the ambition is that you will eventually be employed by the company.

- Scope: Full-time, long-term.
