Our current workforce has extensive experience and unique expertise, but we are facing significant retirements. Therefore, we have decided to start a trainee program where knowledge and skills can be transferred over a longer period.

Do you want to take the first step into an industry where sustainability, technology, and teamwork meet? As a trainee in the process area, you will work in a safety-focused production environment where you will receive support, introduction, and opportunities for development from the start.

At Kemira in Helsingborg, we work together to create sustainable chemical solutions that make a difference in the world. We welcome applicants at the beginning of their careers and strongly believe that the right drive and commitment are just as important as experience.

Your responsibilities

As a trainee, you will be part of a team where you will work together on:

  • Operational monitoring, process adjustments, and basic mechanical maintenance
  • Preparation and support during maintenance work
  • Routine checks and participation in improvement projects
  • Troubleshooting during operational interruptions
  • Chemical handling and ensuring a safe working environment
  • This role is suitable for you if you are curious, want to learn more about the process industry, and enjoy variety in your daily work. You will receive a clear introduction and continuous support from experienced colleagues.

What you can expect

  • A secure employer that invests in young talent and internal development
  • Opportunities to grow in your role through training, mentorship, and knowledge exchange
  • An engaged and welcoming team where everyone is respected and included
  • Competitive salaries and good benefits
  • A job where you actively contribute to sustainable solutions and the industry of the future.

What we want you to contribute

  • A technical/process-related high school education or a strong interest in industry, technology, or natural sciences
  • Attention to detail, a sense of responsibility, and a good safety mindset
  • Willingness to learn and develop – we highly value commitment
  • Ability to collaborate and contribute to an inclusive work environment
  • We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds – diversity is a strength and a prerequisite for innovation at our company.
