Welcome to an inspiring lifestyle hotel with an atmosphere that promotes community, creativity, curiosity, and a sense of adventure!
Downtown Camper offers not only a place to sleep and good food and drinks, but everything from yoga to explorations and inspirational lectures. Here, the focus is on meetings – the meeting between nature and the city, and between locals and visitors. We want the hotel to be a natural basecamp for adventurous explorers. Those of us who work at Downtown Camper today believe we have a fun workplace, fantastic colleagues, great leadership, and a wonderful atmosphere. So, are you a social, nature-loving city person? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
We are now looking for a housekeeper for Downtown Camper by Scandic.
No matter why guests come to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. You act as a host together with the rest of the hotel team and create a world-class guest experience.
With us, you will take significant responsibility for making the decisions necessary to satisfy our guests, and the teams develop and improve working methods and service as the world changes. We are convinced that it is when you can develop and contribute all your skills and experience that we exceed the guests' expectations. On top of that, we have fun at work!
So bring your experiences, your commitment, and your way of thinking to us – and contribute to a culture where we genuinely care: about each other, our guests, and our planet. Welcome to Scandic!
What does the role entail?
Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the important task of ensuring that the hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness and that our guests experience a “wow feeling” when they enter the hotel and their hotel room. The role includes cleaning hotel rooms, corridors, pantries, and common areas. You and your colleagues contribute to the overall order in the hotel’s premises, manage laundry, and replenish our supplies.
Who are you?
To thrive in this role, you need to be meticulous and have an eye for detail. It is important that you have good physical fitness, are flexible, and have good teamwork skills as all employees together are responsible for the guest experience. You spread positive energy around you and are a caring colleague. You have previous experience in cleaning, guest service, and can communicate in Swedish. As we use iPads, you need to have some computer skills. Previous experience in hotels is an advantage.
