About the client company

Do you have experience in welding or are you trained in the field? Then you might be the right person for us! We are now looking for a manual welder for our client in Örnsköldsvik, focusing on manual and semi-automatic welding.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will work with welding using the methods stick, TIG, and MIG. You will read blueprints, visually assess welds, and repair welding and dimensional errors. You will collaborate with production engineers and welding specialists to develop new method approvals and improvement proposals, while actively contributing to maintaining high quality in production. The job requires you to be flexible and able to adapt to production needs, as well as enjoying working both independently and in a team.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has good experience in reading blueprints and is confident in your skills. You are proactive, creative, and solution-oriented, while also being meticulous, responsible, and valuing order and tidiness. You work well in collaboration with others but also have the ability to take responsibility on your own. In your application, we would like you to specify which welding methods and materials you have experience with. It is a plus if you have forklift and overhead crane licenses, hot work certificates, or other relevant qualifications.

To be considered for the position

we see that you have a high school education in the industrial program with a focus on welding, good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written, experience in manual welding, blueprint reading, and quality assessment, as well as familiarity with working in production systems and with computers.

Additional information

This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Konsultia and work on-site with our client in Örnsköldsvik. The position is full-time, with working hours varying between daytime and two shifts, depending on the current position and department.
