Description

We are currently seeking a permanent care assistant to join our fantastic night home care team.

We are looking for someone who is positive, highly engaged, has good teamwork skills, a sense of responsibility, and is flexible. The night home care consists of three night teams: Värnamo town, Forsheda, and Rydaholm. Collaboration and flexibility are important as we work closely between our operations. We have two coordinators in our operation who work nights and handle all planning for all night teams within home care.

We seek a positive person who finds working with people stimulating. We want you to be communicative and have good knowledge of the Swedish language, as a large part of the work involves ensuring that our clients are understood and their needs are met.

All our operations work based on Värnamo Municipality's values MURAS: People in focus, Development, Respect, Joy of work, Collaboration.

Working hours are scheduled nights on weekdays and weekends, from 21:45 to 06:45.

The work involves working alone.

Responsibilities

To provide care and service centered around the client's needs according to the assistance decision and implementation plan, with respect for the client's integrity, participation, and self-determination.

As a care assistant, you are also the primary contact for the individual client, responsible for their care and assisting with contacts with authorities, relatives, healthcare, etc.

Your tasks will also include IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health and medical tasks.

Planning in Combine Plan will be part of your responsibilities. Knowing the planning system is a requirement, as you must be able to replace coordinators in their absence and during vacations.

As a night worker in home care, you need to be self-assured and calm in stressful situations. In addition to planned interventions, we handle security alarms.

Qualifications

Completion of the care and nursing program or other education that provides care assistant competence, along with good computer skills. The position requires good teamwork skills, flexibility, and independence. Personal suitability is highly valued, and experience is an advantage.

Planning in Combine Plan will be part of your responsibilities. Knowing the planning system is a requirement.

As a night worker in home care, you need to be self-assured and calm in stressful situations. Previous experience in night work, emergency care, or psychiatric work is an advantage.

Conditions

As of July 1, 2023, the title of care assistant is protected, and to be eligible, a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare must be submitted.
