We are looking for a technically engaged CNC technician with production experience who wants to optimize and improve manufacturing processes. As an Operational CNC Production Technician at Hydralid AB, you will be a central part of a dynamic family-owned company focused on quality, delivery capability, and technical development. Hydralid is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders with short delivery times and high customization.
Your Role
You will work operationally in production where you combine practical CNC work with technical responsibility and problem-solving:
- Program, optimize, and test CNC machines (lathe/milling/multi-operation machines).
- Perform setups, adjustments, and quality controls on details.
- Work operationally with precision manufacturing in the daily production.
- Troubleshoot machine processes and improve manufacturing flows and cycle times.
- Optimize tool selection, feeds, and speeds for efficient results.
- Document processes and contribute to continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with production, design, and quality for the best possible results.
Contribute to stable, safe, and efficient processes aimed at zero defects.
The position is located in Lidköping at Hydralid. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00.
You will be offered employment with Hydralid AB starting immediately or as agreed.

You are a person with solid technical competence and a strong drive to develop both processes and production, who enjoys taking responsibility for your work and making decisions that yield concrete results. You can work independently when needed, while also collaborating well and communicating openly with colleagues. With an analytical and structured approach, you see the whole picture in processes and actively contribute to improvements, while being proactive, engaged, and solution-focused.
Requirements
Experience & Knowledge
- Several years of experience in CNC machining (lathe and/or milling).
- Familiarity with reading drawings, using measuring techniques, and handling tolerances.
- Experience in optimizing machining strategies, machine setups, and tool selection.
- Good Swedish in speech and writing, as well as basic English.
Meritorious
- Experience with LEAN, production technology, or work in series production.
- Post-secondary education in production technology, industrial economics, automation, or similar.
- Competence in automation, machine control, and production equipment.
- Understanding of flow analysis, balancing work, and creating work instructions.
We prefer that you have a genuine interest in manufacturing technology and in continuously improving both products and processes.
