Nurse Jenny describes her job: "My job is largely about tools to empower the individuals who come to us to find their own resources and to provide support without taking away a person's own resources. The best part of my job is that I get along very well with my colleagues and that almost every day it feels like I have made a difference when I have given my time to each person." We are now looking for a colleague to join our team at the Psychiatric Ward at Gällivare Hospital. Perhaps you are a resident of Gällivare looking to change jobs or someone seeking new challenges and considering moving to beautiful Gällivare.

What you will work with
As a nurse with us, you will have the opportunity to perform truly meaningful work. In our department, you will meet patients with, for example, severe depression, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, substance abuse, or neuropsychiatric diagnoses. Together in a care team – consisting of caregivers and nurses – you will work with individually tailored care through a contact person system that creates continuity and security for the patient.
In your role as a nurse, you will among other things:
Work patient-centered with a holistic perspective where participation for both patients and relatives is of great importance.
Participate in the design of care plans upon admission according to HSL, LPT, LRV, or LVM, based on the patient's needs.
Have close collaboration with psychiatric outpatient care and other authorities, such as social services, during coordinated individual planning (SIP).
We are proud of our spirit of improvement with a clear patient focus. Here you will have good opportunities to develop care processes, care environments, and working methods together with colleagues – always with the goal of creating more value-creating time for the patient.
