Avfall & Recycling Skaraborg is looking for summer substitutes

Avfall & Recycling Skaraborg is a municipal association with members from Essunga, Falköping, Hjo, Grästorp, Gullspång, Götene, Karlsborg, Mariestad, Skara, Skövde, Tibro, Töreboda, and Vara municipalities. Our main task is to be responsible for the collection and treatment of household waste for over 217,000 residents. Our operations consist of collection, recycling centers, and emptying of individual sewage systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

From May to September, we are looking for summer substitutes for our collection operations. For the right person, there is an opportunity for continued employment after this period.

You will be based with us at Avfall and Recycling in Mariestad or Skövde.

As a C-driver in the collection, you will work with:

• Collection of waste/packaging according to planned routes.
• Driving C-vehicles.
• Customer contact as needed.
• Daily supervision and maintenance of vehicles.
• Reporting in digital systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a C driver's license.
• Has a valid YKB.
• Masters Swedish in speech and writing.

It is important for us that you can independently prioritize your work, that you are meticulous in your profession, and responsible as a person. Furthermore, it is important that you are positive and flexible and have an easy time collaborating with colleagues since we help each other every day and in all situations. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious for the position:

• Experience in collection work or similar driving.
• Local knowledge in Skövde/Mariestad.
