ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Production Assistant, you are a key person in the manufacturing process. You will work with various tasks that ensure the customer's products maintain the highest quality and are delivered on time to customers. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues and production management.

Academic Work is now looking for additional staff for our existing student pool. Our client is a qualified and knowledgeable food producer with flexible operations. Today, approximately 100 tons of mayonnaise, mustard, and sauces are produced each week, and you can find their products in grocery stores, restaurants, burger chains, and gas stations. You will work part-time and are expected to be able to take about two shifts a week and more during the summer and Christmas.

Working Hours

Evening shifts from 2:20 PM to 11:46 PM

The position is a consulting assignment through us at Academic Work. You will be part of a student pool where you submit your availability week by week and will be scheduled for shifts accordingly. You will have significant contact with Academic Work's Staffing Service, which is responsible for collecting your availability and managing scheduling. You have a great responsibility to submit your availability each week and maintain good communication with the Staffing Service, your Consultant Manager, and the client.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role involves performing various tasks within production to ensure an efficient and qualitative manufacturing process from start to finish.

• Packaging of goods
• Operating mixing machines
• Working on a bottling line
• Keeping clean and tidying up - for example, empty boxes and cans

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Is studying at a post-secondary level for at least 1 year ahead
• Is available to work two days a week + more during the summer and Christmas
• Has a background in restaurants, food handling, or similar
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently as this is required in daily work

The work involves handling food, which places high demands on hygiene. The position may also require you to be in good physical shape.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Some form of warehouse or production experience
• Forklift license

Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities. It is important that you take significant responsibility for your tasks, follow rules and procedures, and have a good sense of order. Working in production requires great attention to detail and helpfulness.
