The Service and Technical Administration is Katrineholm Municipality's joint service and service provider. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a park worker, your tasks will include green maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, lawn mowing, tree pruning which involves working in a lift and some high-altitude work, cleaning, machine operation, and other assignments within the park unit. We are responsible for the maintenance of municipal areas as well as external maintenance at the municipality's preschools, schools, and nursing homes in Katrineholm. The work is physically demanding but varied throughout the year. This position includes weekend work. During winter, snow management and handling of Christmas lighting with some night shifts are included. Throughout the year, street sweeping may also occur at night.

We currently have 4 work teams managing our green environments, each team has its geographical area of responsibility, but cooperation is an obvious part of our common mission. You will work both in groups and individually. When the team leader is absent, you will replace the team leader.

QUALIFICATIONS

A driver's license for manual transmission is required to perform the job. You need to be able to move around the municipality. We have a lot of contact with citizens, colleagues, and employees, which means you must master the Swedish language both in speech and writing. Computer skills are needed to manage our systems.
