Care Assistant Wanted at Ekbacka 6

Ekbacka 6 is a care and nursing home with a somatic focus located in central Borgholm, currently seeking a qualified care assistant. We work in small multidisciplinary teams with the care recipients and in close collaboration with relatives. Our goal is to create a safe and meaningful everyday life for our care recipients with developing activities and stimulation based on individual needs at the center.

The Social Administration is responsible for the municipality's social care, including

• elderly care
• municipal health and medical care
• individual and family care
• care for the disabled
• administrative unit

Borgholm Municipality covers the northern part of Öland - the island of sun and winds. The central towns are Borgholm, Köpingsvik, and Löttorp.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Ekbacka 6, you will assist and support care recipients in their daily lives based on the orders from the case manager and perform the services approved according to the Social Services Act. You will work closely in a multidisciplinary team with colleagues, home healthcare, municipal rehabilitation, case managers, and unit managers.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work with us, you need to be at least 18 years old and have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant or equivalent and has experience working in care and support, as well as good familiarity with administrative tasks. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in elderly care.

We seek someone with a professional approach and a genuine interest in working with people. You should find it easy to work both independently and in a team, be curious, take initiative, and see it as a given to contribute to a good work climate.
