Do you want to take your expertise in fullstack development to the next level? We are looking for a senior developer with extensive experience in Java and modern frontend frameworks who wants to help build the digital solutions of the future with us at Accelerate. At the same time, you will play a central role in establishing and further developing our Java team in Stockholm and help shape how the team and the offering evolve over time.

About the role As a senior fullstack developer in Java with us, you are a key person in both technical development and in building a strong Java team. You contribute deep technical expertise, an agile mindset, and a long-term perspective in projects that make a difference for our clients.

You will work with backend development in Java and Spring Boot as well as with modern frontend frameworks like React and Angular. You will work closely with DevOps and are comfortable with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud environments.

Examples of what you will do in your consulting assignment:

• Develop and maintain microservice-based backend solutions in Java/Spring Boot

• Create intuitive and responsive user interfaces with React, Angular, or similar.

• Work with databases such as MySQL and Oracle DB

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and delivery

• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for container management and orchestration

• Participate in architecture and design decisions and mentor junior colleagues

Who are you? We are looking for someone with at least 8 years of experience as a fullstack developer, with deep expertise in Java and experience with modern web technologies. You are solution-oriented, enjoy working closely with clients, and have an eye for both technology and user value. You have an academic degree focused on system development, web development, or similar.

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Swedish citizenship is required for this position, and we also conduct background checks on the final candidate.

We believe you have experience with some of the following:

• Java, Spring Boot

• Java EE / Jakarta EE

• JBoss application server

• TypeScript/JavaScript

• React, Angular, or similar

• MySQL, Oracle DB

• CI/CD tools

• Docker and Kubernetes

Extra plus if you have:

• Experience in system architecture or technical leadership roles

• Experience with cloud solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Experience with test automation and TDD

• Certifications in Java or cloud platforms

• Technical documentation in complex systems

Location Accelerate has several locations in Sweden and Norway. For this position, you will be based in our Stockholm office, with the possibility of hybrid work.
