Kitchen Assistant Wanted for Our Catering Kitchen in Skarpnäck

Do you want to work in a large kitchen where quality, sustainability, and collaboration are in focus? We are now looking for a kitchen assistant for 75% at our catering kitchen in Skarpnäck.

In the kitchen, we prepare approximately 1,600 portions daily for preschools and schools. Our mission is to serve well-prepared, nutritious, and sustainable food – made from scratch and with flavors from around the world.

About Us

Tellusfood is a subsidiary of Tellusgruppen. We prepare daily meals for about 4,500 children and students in our six kitchens in Greater Stockholm, Enköping, and Linköping.

We work with locally produced and seasonal ingredients, have high standards for quality and food safety – and a strong commitment to the children's dining experience.

Job Responsibilities

As a kitchen assistant in our catering kitchen, you will:

Assist the chefs in preparing the day's meals
Be responsible for the production of salad buffets and cold accompaniments
Participate in the daily packing of meal deliveries
Take part in receiving goods
Work with dishwashing, cleaning, and hygiene routines according to applicable guidelines
Collaborate closely with colleagues in the kitchen, dishwashing, and delivery teams

Qualifications

Education as a kitchen assistant or equivalent experience
Work experience from a large kitchen or restaurant kitchen
Experience working with special diets, such as allergies
Good knowledge of Swedish in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension
Good knowledge of mathematics and measurements, important for portion calculations
Ability to work independently, structured, and in a team
Stress-resistant and responsible
Available for work from 6:00 AM

Desirable Qualifications

HACCP training or food hygiene training
Experience with dietary data systems
Driving license B (may involve driving a light truck or pickup)
Experience from preschool kitchens, school kitchens, or catering operations
