The Logistics Unit is responsible for supply support, material accounting, transportation, technical services, storage services, and healthcare across the entire conflict spectrum. The unit is also responsible for infrastructure and environmental management, housing, procurement, as well as occupational health and defense medicine.

Main Responsibilities

The position of Purchasing Coordinator serves as a coordinating function within procurement for the entire F 7. In this role, you will work on executing qualified orders from applicable framework agreements. You will monitor that purchases of goods and services are made in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and you will conduct purchases through orders and procurements up to the direct procurement threshold. You are the point of contact for other operations within the Armed Forces, where you will also be part of a network for procurement issues. The position contributes to creating robustness by implementing and developing manual purchasing routines.

Furthermore, you will participate in the work of preparing and planning purchases and procurements for exercises and host nation support, and you should be prepared to assist with other administrative tasks within the unit. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will also be the one who informs about agreements, applicable laws, guidelines, decisions, and instructions for the commercial area, and you will maintain the local contract status.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in similar work
• Experience in administration and processing
• Approved high school education with a focus on economics
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driving license B for manual transmission
• Swedish citizenship

Personal Qualities

As a person, you are meticulous, proactive, security-conscious, and responsible. You can work independently, have good collaboration skills, and are quality-conscious. We also see that you have good administrative skills and can express yourself well in both speech and writing.

Meritorious Qualifications

It is advantageous if you have experience in purchasing and/or procurement and have worked in purchasing systems. It is also advantageous if you are knowledgeable in customer-related purchasing issues, purchasing according to LOU. Knowledge of the Armed Forces is a plus.

The position requires physical and mental capability. Travel during work for shorter periods occurs for both work and personal training. Since both positions and tasks are linked to a war organization, you will also be placed in our logistics organization. This means, among other things, that you will receive training in what is expected of you in a heightened state of readiness.

Skaraborg Air Force Wing is a versatile and unique air wing. Here you will find combat aircraft as well as the Armed Forces' collective resources for transport and special aviation. We conduct basic and position training for conscripted recruits and train all Swedish and foreign Gripen pilots. The unit also participates in many missions.
