The security political situation in our region has changed, and the government has decided that military capability should continue to be strengthened. This means that the Armed Forces and Norrbotten Regiment, I19, will grow. A crucial factor for our growth is that operations at the unit are conducted efficiently. Therefore, we currently need new employees in several positions and at several locations. We hope you want to join us in this expansive period as Detail Manager at the Mobilization Section in Boden.
About the Unit
The Logistics Unit (LogE) at Norrbotten Regiment, I19, consists of a Staff, a Technical Department (TekA), and a Supply Department (FörsA). The Supply Department, FörsA Boden, is responsible for providing supplies and transportation that the units need to conduct training, exercises, readiness, and missions. FörsA Boden consists of approximately 100 employees located in Boden and Kiruna.
Main Responsibilities
The Detail Manager's task is to support the Section Manager. This is done by being involved in planning, management, customer contact, and follow-up of operations. The Detail Manager will lead and plan their Detail and its personnel, which involves personnel responsibility. The tasks consist of inventory management, stocktaking, material and record maintenance, as well as administrative work in our support systems, which takes place indoors and outdoors in all weather. The work may involve heavy lifting. The Detail's tasks include handling, delivery, and storage of Catering, Medical Supplies, and medications. Job rotation within and outside the section and support to other locations may occur.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Approved secondary education or equivalent knowledge assessed by the employer as comparable.
- Driving license class B manual transmission
- Experience in leadership or equivalent knowledge assessed by the employer as comparable.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone with a strong sense of service and ease in contacting people, as well as a good ability to express themselves in speech and writing. You are a good teammate while also taking initiative and personal responsibility. You are comfortable working independently, loyal, flexible, meticulous, and organized. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
MERITORIOUS
- Experience working in support systems.
- Completed Military Service.
- Knowledge of medical supplies and medications.
- Good physical ability.

I 19 is one of Sweden's largest regiments with operations in Boden, Kiruna, Tåme, and Grubbnäsudden/Lomben. The main location and management for the regiment is in Boden.
The regiment's most important task is to build combat units, and in the coming years, I 19 will gradually develop the new Norrbotten Brigade. By 2028, the regiment should be able to train, stockpile, and mobilize the entire brigade, including the associated functional units; command, field operations, air defense, and logistics. The brigade should be able to engage in combat in all environments but be specialized for combat in the subarctic environment of the Nordic region.
The regiment also includes the Armed Forces' winter unit, which has the task of coordinating and supporting the development of the Armed Forces' winter capability.
The conscription training is conducted at the Norrbotten Armored Battalion, which is responsible for training and maintaining units for the Norrbotten Brigade. The regiment also consists of the regimental staff, Defense Health, Garrison Support Unit, Logistics Unit, and Local Planning Unit.
