We are currently looking for more dedicated individuals to join our team in Oxelösund. We are searching for skilled welders, machine cutters, and assemblers.

The position of machine cutter

As a machine cutter, your tasks will include staffing and preparing cut steel components for our welding flow. Since the machine cuts with both gas and plasma, experience in both methods is required. The work involves cutting and monitoring the machine, as well as nesting/programming, handling sheets before and after cutting, and daily maintenance. Therefore, we prefer that you have experience in grinding/deburring, beveling, cutting, and shearing.

A significant part of the job involves planning the cutting efficiently with good sheet utilization. Previous experience with CNC-controlled machines, creating drawing documentation with CAD, and creating cutting programs is considered a great merit.

Since we only work on projects, the work is varied. This places high demands on reading drawings as no job is like another. Lifting is done with a crane, so it is a great advantage if you already hold a valid overhead crane certificate. The position may also involve forklift driving to assist our logistics, so having a forklift license is a significant merit.

We believe that you, as an applicant for this position, have a good understanding of safe work practices and an interest in the field and workflow. As a cutter with us, you hold a key function as production may come to a standstill without staffing.

Merits for the position:

• Overhead crane certificate (Required, but advantageous if you already have one)
• Mobile platforms
• Previous experience in heavy industry
• Previous experience in gas/plasma cutting
• Forklift license

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of reading drawings.
• High safety awareness and understanding of safe work practices.
• Ability to communicate in both Swedish and English.

The employment is full-time and during the day. We offer, in consultation with the candidate, hourly or monthly salary, temporary employment with the possibility of extension, or a probationary period of 6 months.

The position will be filled in our sister company OXIM, with which we have a close collaboration. The company offers a collective agreement where the salary is set according to the agreement.
