Mark Workshop East is a department within the Mark Workshop Unit with about 80 employees belonging to the Army Staff. We operate in Eksjö, Linköping, and Kvarn, performing maintenance on the Armed Forces' equipment across all branches of defense. This includes maintenance in the form of inspections, repairs, manufacturing, disassembly/scrapping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and equipment investigation.

Main Responsibilities

The Armed Forces are growing, and therefore we are now looking for a service technician in Eksjö. Some of your daily tasks will include internal and external transport of materials. You will also be responsible for delivering repair items to our mechanics and picking up and dropping off in storage. Periodically, there may also be some type of maintenance and repairs as well as order preparation.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone who has at least completed a two- or three-year high school education with a focus on transport or equivalent, or skills acquired through professional experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• You have previous experience with heavy transport.
• Computer skills with knowledge of Word and Excel.
• You have a CE driver's license.
• You hold a military driver's license for at least a heavy truck with a trailer.

You are a team player who works well independently as well as in a group. As a service technician, you are structured, decisive, and make correct assessments and priorities. You are flexible and can easily shift your focus and adapt in a changing environment. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude towards work and the organization.

Meritorious

• Experience and knowledge of workshop operations and equipment maintenance in the Armed Forces.
• Experience in maintenance of heavy vehicles.
• Forklift license.
• Driver's license for wide transport, PHV27.

Other

Employment type: Permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period.
Employment rate: Full-time, daytime.
Work location: Eksjö.
Start date: as soon as possible by agreement.

The job also requires travel and service, both domestically and internationally. The position is a civilian appointment.

Work with thermosetting plastics may occur at the mark workshop and involves health checks.
