Our Job Offer

Department 76 focuses on general internal medicine, and our patients have a wide range of internal medicine diagnoses. We have 20 care places, of which 4 are monitoring places. Our goal is to care for and treat the acutely ill patient. With us, you will have the opportunity to further develop a broad competence in internal medicine. We have direct admissions from the emergency department around the clock and transfers from other areas within the hospital, which means you will meet and care for patients with both acute and chronic conditions. Here, you will have the opportunity to further develop a broad competence in internal medicine. We work in teams, learn from each other, and have good collaboration between professions where the patient's best interest is our common goal.

Job Description

Common tasks include:

• Basic care
• Mobilization
• ECG
• Telemetry
• Dressing changes
• Monitoring vital parameters
• Capillary and venous sampling and blood cultures, as well as catheterization of the bladder after completing training via Clinicum at the hospital.
• Venous blood gases

Qualifications

Eligible to work as a nursing assistant, which means you meet one of the following requirements before summer 2026:

• Trained nursing assistant with 6 months of clinical experience in a hospital.
• Nursing student who has completed T4.
• Medical student who has completed T5.

Experience in emergency care is an advantage.

As a person, you are humble and treat people with respect. We are looking for someone who always puts the patient first, takes great responsibility for their own work, and wants to help develop care and nursing. The job requires a good ability to work independently, but at the same time, you are part of a team and contribute to the overall functioning.

Therefore, we see that you are positive, service-oriented, responsible, and have the ability to meet patients and colleagues in a professional manner. You should be calm and stress-resistant and work according to routines. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Other

Summer position with a chance for continued hourly employment during the semester. To be eligible for a summer position, you need to be able to work at least 6 weeks between June and August, with weeks 28-31 being a requirement. Greater availability increases your chances of employment.
