About the position

Södra is making one of its largest investments ever – we are renovating and developing our sawmill in Kisa for the future. Here we are creating a modern and high-tech facility that will contribute to climate-smart construction and strengthen the local industry for many years to come.

We are now looking for someone with strong electrical expertise who wants to be involved from the beginning and shape the future of the wood industry with us. This is what you will work with at Södra

As an Electrical Maintenance Manager, you will have overall responsibility for leading, planning, and developing electrical maintenance. You will ensure high operational reliability and technical availability in the facility's electrical and automation systems and drive improvement work with a focus on safety, structure, and efficiency.

You will be an important part of the construction phase of the sawmill and have the opportunity to influence working methods, routines, and standards from the start.

In this role, you will among other things:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of electricians

  • Plan and structure preventive and corrective maintenance

  • Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and electrical standards

  • Be responsible for electrical safety and working environment in your area

  • Coordinate external suppliers and contractors during installations and investments

  • Actively participate in projects, commissioning, and improvement initiatives

  • Follow up on costs, reporting, and key figures related to maintenance and energy

The position is a permanent full-time employment based in Kisa.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a strong electrical engineering background – you may be a trained electrical engineer, have equivalent technical education, or have acquired your skills through solid work experience. You have a good understanding of electrical systems within industrial operations and feel confident interpreting and working according to laws, regulations, and standards within electrical and working environment.

You are a structured and planning person who thrives in a leadership role where you can combine technology, people, and development. As a leader, you are present, clear, and coaching, and you motivate your team to work towards common goals.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • Experience in a leadership role or work management within electrical/maintenance

  • Good knowledge of electrical safety, regulations, and standards

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and create structure in the work

  • An inclusive and communicative leadership style

  • Interest in improvement work and technical development

It is meritorious if you also have experience in:

  • Industrial electricity and automation

  • BAS-P / BAS-U or similar workplace responsibility

  • Project work and coordination of contractors

  • Process or manufacturing industry
