About the position

Our Angio operations involve elective patients coming to us from all over the country for PCI, valve interventions (e.g., TAVI), and other Angio interventions. We also perform emergency procedures within coronary interventions, ECMO, and other urgent interventions.

Within the bradyflow, we work with pacemaker and defibrillator treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. The operations within the flow range from investigating arrhythmias and implanting PM/ICD to follow-up of PM/ICD treatment in the outpatient clinic. The most advanced PM/ICD treatments in the region occur within the flow, with some unique procedures such as lead extractions on both adults and children, as well as other highly specialized interventions such as heart failure pacing on a large scale. We operate in both Solna and Huddinge. We have a strong research and development focus, which forms the basis for a cutting-edge operation in the new device treatment of arrhythmias and heart failure.

You will be involved in all aspects of the operations based on your own knowledge and previous experience. Tasks may include assisting in surgery, independent outpatient care based on competence, and administrative tasks.

You will be part of a team with nurses and doctors with specialist competence in interventional cardiology, where you as a nurse will have various tasks during procedures/interventions. This may involve assisting the doctor in sterile clothing during procedures, nursing measures, and other tasks inside and outside the operating room.

All nurses within the section have their own areas of responsibility. There is also an opportunity to conduct your own or participate in research projects.

The position is a permanent full-time employment. Work will take place in both Huddinge and Solna. The position also includes on-call duty.
