In this role, you will work with both heavy maintenance and preventive as well as corrective maintenance of vehicle type X3. The work includes major overhauls, repairs, and modifications, as well as ongoing maintenance according to established maintenance plans and work orders. The work is performed in depot and workshop environments and includes mechanical, electrical, and sometimes pneumatic systems.

Your tasks may include:

• Heavy maintenance, major repairs, and overhauls of railway vehicles

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of X3 vehicles

• Work with mechanical systems such as bogies, brakes, couplings, and door systems

• Work with electrical and control systems

• Troubleshooting, fault rectification, and basic root cause analysis

• Work according to electrical diagrams, drawings, and technical maintenance documentation

• Documentation and reporting in maintenance systems

• Ensuring that work is performed according to applicable safety, quality, and work environment requirements

You have a high school education in vehicles, electricity, mechanics, technology, or industry, or equivalent documented work experience. You have experience in maintenance work on railway vehicles or similar technical systems, preferably with several years of experience in heavy maintenance, major repairs, or overhauls. You are accustomed to working in a workshop environment and have a good technical understanding of both mechanical systems and electrical and control systems. You can read and work according to electrical diagrams, drawings, and technical documentation, and you have experience documenting completed work in maintenance systems. Experience with X3 or similar vehicle types, work according to established maintenance programs, and knowledge of railway-specific regulations and EN standards are advantageous.

As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and quality-conscious. You work in a structured manner, are solution-oriented, and have a good ability to collaborate with others, while also being able to work independently and take technical responsibility. Safety is a natural part of your work approach, and you follow routines and instructions with great precision.
