About the position

At Simplex, we are currently looking for a Technician/Mechanic and/or Electrician with mechanical skills for the maintenance department of a client in food production in Järna.

You will be part of a team responsible for repairs and maintenance of production machines and auxiliary equipment. The role requires you to enjoy working both independently and collaboratively with others.

As a maintenance technician, you ensure high operational availability of production equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance. Together with colleagues, you contribute technical expertise and effective maintenance solutions to the business. The work also involves industrial control systems and troubleshooting in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of production machines
• Troubleshooting in mechanics, electricity, and pneumatics
• Working with industrial control systems
• Reporting and documentation in the maintenance system Maintmaster
• Contributing to improvements and high operational reliability in production

Qualifications

• High school education in Technology/Industry/Electricity
• At least 5 years of experience as a technician, repairman, or mechanic
• Driving license B
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience from the food industry
• Knowledge of English
• Knowledge of PLC and control technology
