At Norlandia Preschools, we are looking for you who want to work as a substitute cook at Norlandia Diktaren in Solna. The preschool has 107 children and 20 educators.

• Requirements for employment:

  • We want you to have good knowledge of cooking from scratch and experience working in a preschool.

  • Ability to prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks for all children and adults, as well as special diets for those in need.

  • Good knowledge of planning and experience in following a budget.

  • All communication and documentation is done in Swedish, so good knowledge of both spoken and written Swedish is required.

  • High school education in restaurant and catering, or equivalent experience.

  • Training in self-control and food hygiene.

  Examples of common tasks

  • Plan and organize work to adapt it according to the children's schedule.

  • Preparation and serving of all meals at the preschool, as well as other kitchen tasks such as cleaning according to cleaning routines and dishwashing.

  • Baking bread and cooking for family services.

  • Mini chefs in the kitchen

  • Cleaning according to cleaning routines and dishwashing

• Working hours during the day, Monday to Friday

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Upon employment, a criminal record extract is required.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
