The Role of the Operating Room Nurse

As an operating room nurse, you are part of an operating team. In addition to being responsible for materials and hygiene, the patient's well-being and privacy fall under your responsibility. During the operation, you assist the surgeon, which requires good knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and surgical methods and techniques. The tasks are very varied, and you will work across many different specialties, such as surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, and urology.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

We are looking for you who are a specialist nurse in surgery for our surgical unit at Högland Hospital in Eksjö. It is important to us that you have a strong work ethic, are flexible, can take initiative, and have the ability to see the bigger picture. You have a good ability to listen, communicate, and collaborate with colleagues. You also have the ability to remain calm in pressured and changing situations.
