At the clinic, we provide emergency care, inpatient care, day care, home care, palliative care, as well as pre- and post-operative care. In our neonatology department, we provide intensive care including respiratory support, home care, and follow-up clinics for newborns. In addition, we provide care for all child-specific conditions related to growth and development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a resident physician at the Child and Adolescent Clinic, you will have a developing role with a good opportunity to follow patients over time. You will work in our inpatient department, neonatal unit, emergency department, day care, and specialist outpatient clinic, which are located in both Växjö and Ljungby.

In addition to your placement in child and adolescent psychiatry and habilitation, you can complete your entire residency in pediatric medicine with us. As a resident physician, you will participate under supervision in all tasks within the specialty, including on-call duties. The training as a resident physician takes place within the framework of the residency program with individual supervision and the development of an individual education plan (IUP).

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed physician who has completed their foundation training (AT/BT). You have proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to at least C1 level.
