JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The transition to Good and Close Care involves a focus on person-centered care where the individual's needs are at the center, as well as close collaboration with primary care and inpatient care.

We are currently looking for a temporary occupational therapist or physiotherapist who wants to help shape community rehabilitation together with other staff in community rehab and the health and medical department. You will work in a team with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and assistive technology specialists. The work also involves close collaboration with nurses, care staff, and unit managers.

As an occupational therapist, you are part of the Health and Medical Department and perform rehabilitation efforts, training, health-promoting, and preventive measures for our citizens throughout the municipality. In your role as an occupational therapist/physiotherapist, you are responsible for assessments and planning interventions based on the individual's needs. You are also responsible for the trial and prescription of assistive devices.

You will have a varied and stimulating job by performing daily tasks while also developing for tomorrow's challenges. We also want you to be involved in developing collaborations with other professionals in the organization such as care staff, nurses, and case managers where preventive and promotional measures are a central part of our future approach to safeguarding independent living for individuals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed occupational therapist or licensed physiotherapist.

Experience in municipal operations is an advantage.

We prefer that you feel secure in your professional role and have good collaboration skills.

A driver's license is required.

If you are selected for employment, the employer will request an extract from the criminal record. The municipal council has decided that all new hires must present a criminal record extract before employment. The extract that must be shown is the one for work within schools or preschools.
